September 2026
September has been a busy but rewarding month for Cycle CPD, giving us the chance to work with families, support local communities and strengthen connections across the cycling industry.
One of the highlights was delivering our funded family cycling sessions at Hafod Trails, helping local families spend quality time together outdoors while building confidence on bikes.

We also continued our work with Dyfatty Community Centre, supporting people in one of Swansea's most disadvantaged communities through accessible cycle maintenance activities.
These sessions reinforce why we do what we do, creating opportunities, building skills and helping make cycling available to everyone. We will be continuing these all throughout October and November with one-day a week sessions.
The workshop has been busy too, with more Cytech courses running throughout September. We enjoyed working with another fantastic group of learners and helping them build confidence as mechanics. If you've been thinking about getting qualified, we've got more course dates available right through to the end of the year.

September also gave us the opportunity to get out and connect with the wider cycling industry. Attending the Cycling Industry News (CIN) Trade Show and the Tredz Women's evening provided valuable networking opportunities, inspiring conversations and the chance to strengthen relationships with people and organisations who share our passion for cycling.
Looking ahead, we're particularly excited about our Cycle CPD × RockShox training event coming up in November. This represents the type of hands-on, brand-led technical training we'd love to see more of in Wales. Our goal is to continue building partnerships with cycling brands and manufacturers to bring specialist training opportunities closer to mechanics across the country.
A huge thank you to everyone who has attended a session, partnered with us or supported our work this month. We're excited about what's still to come before the end of the year and look forward to helping even more people develop their cycling skills and confidence.
